A screw-retained full arch hybrid is an implant-supported restoration to rehabilitate the full arch (upper or lower) when the teeth have failed. The hybrid implant bridge is screwed into bone-supported implants and functions like natural teeth. It is called a hybrid because the dentist can remove it, but the patient cannot. It is sometimes referred to as “teeth-in-a-day,” because the teeth are removed, implants are placed and the hybrid can be installed right away. Upper and lower hybrid implant bridges provide patients with a beautiful and functional smile without the inconvenience of removable dentures.

An implant retained overdenture is a type of full or partial denture that is supported by and attached to multiple implants. This treatment option is ideal for patients who don’t have any teeth left in their jaw, but have sufficient bone in the jaw to support the placement of multiple implants.

 

Implant retained overdentures are more stable than regular dentures. Patients find it easier to speak and don’t have to worry about denture(s) becoming loose or falling out. An implant retained overdenture in the upper jaw also feels more natural than a regular denture because the denture no longer covers the roof of the mouth. Patients with implant retained overdentures are also able to eat a larger variety of foods than possible with traditional dentures.

A highly-esthetic, non-metallic restoration that is bonded onto the prepared tooth to restore the beauty, strength and function of the tooth. The CEREC^® system enables us to fabricate inlays and onlays that precisely and perfectly fit your tooth in one visit. After bonding, your bite is adjusted, the tooth polished and once again functionally restored to its natural form. Inlays and onlays are normally used in areas of large decay that do not require a full coverage crown. For those patients preferring gold, we continue to provide gold inlays and onlays as an option.

A crown, made from porcelain or ceramic material, is used to permanently and entirely cover or “cap” a damaged tooth. In addition to strengthening a damaged tooth, a crown can be used to improve tooth appearance, shape or alignment.

Brighton Dental offers dentures as replacement for missing teeth—that can be taken out for cleaning and maintenance and readily put back into your mouth. There are two main type of dentures: full and partial. A conventional, full denture is placed in the mouth after all remaining teeth are removed and the tissue has healed. In contrast, a partial denture rests on a metal framework that attaches to the patient’s natural teeth as a removable alternative to a bridge.

A bridge is crafted and placed to replace one or more missing teeth. Bridges can be supported by natural teeth or just by implants alone. We offer a variety of bridge designs depending upon the your needs, with all being securely bonded into the your mouth.
