The Oral Fix at Brighton Dental is an in-house digital restoration laboratory that specializes in on-demand CEREC® design and modeling, and Dentsply-Sirona® In-Lab Technology and five-axis milling for more challenging and complicated cases. Our in-house lab delivers single visit/chairside tooth restorations to Brighton Dental dentists and patients. The Oral Fix also services other dental practices, providing access and utilization of CEREC and Dentsply-Sirona digital dental technology, without the time and cost investments inherent in becoming a self-functioning CEREC and Dentsply-Sirona In-Lab Technology dental practice.
CEREC®
Without CEREC, a single tooth restoration typically requires more than a single visit. The first visit usually includes an anesthesia injection, preparation of the tooth, an impression, and a temporary placed on the tooth. A couple of weeks later there’s a second appointment, another anesthesia injection, the temporary tooth removed, and the permanent restoration installed. With CEREC, it’s all done chairside, in a single visit… and the results are stunning.
CEREC also eliminates the need for amalgam, gold, and other metals. Instead, non-reactive ceramic materials that closely match the composition of your natural tooth structure are used to restore your teeth to their natural strength, beauty, and function. In addition, the CEREC restoration is chemically bonded to your tooth, saving as much healthy tooth as possible while providing you with a dental restoration that actually strengthens your tooth. CEREC at Brighton Dental gives you the highest quality restorative care and results available.

Implant-Retained Overdentures
Implant retained overdentures are more stable than regular dentures. Patients find it easier to speak and don’t have to worry about denture(s) becoming loose or falling out. An implant retained overdenture in the upper jaw also feels more natural than a regular denture because the denture no longer covers the roof of the mouth. Patients with implant retained overdentures are also able to eat a larger variety of foods than possible with traditional dentures.
Inlays and Onlays
Crowns and Caps
Crowns are typically recommended to:
- Replace a large filling when there isn’t enough tooth remaining
- Protect a weak tooth from fracturing
- Restore a fractured tooth
- Attach a bridge
- Cover a dental implant
- Cover a discolored or poorly shaped tooth
- Cover a tooth that has had root canal treatment
We typically design, mill and permanently install a beautiful crown during a single visit by utilizing the CEREC® system.
